ABOUT US
Founded in 1980, PSCH is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency that began developing and operating community residential facilities for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities in Queens and Brooklyn. The agency has since expanded to include treatment for individuals with severe mental illness, many of whom are also diagnosed with co-occurring substance abuse disorders. In addition, PSCH offers residential services in New Jersey for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.
PSCH serves more than 2000 individuals throughout the boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Staten Island as well as in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Consumers receive a range of supportive services designed to assist them in developing and reinforcing the skills needed to integrate fully into life in the communities of their choice.
