"Two large behavioral health providers have taken preliminary steps to consolidate operations in a full-asset merger. The companies are Queens-based PSCH, a provider of comprehensive services for people with developmental, psychological and behavioral disabilities, and Long Island-based Pederson-Krag, which provides outpatient, community- and school-based mental health and addiction recovery services at six facilities in Suffolk County. When the asset merger is completed later this year, the company will be called PSCH/Pederson-Krag. Pederson-Krag is now the Long Island division of PSCH. Jeff Steigman was named chief executive of Pederson-Krag, and Anita Fleishman, former CEO of Pederson-Krag, was named PSCH senior vice president."
